Let go of holding yourself back.

This March Full Moon invites us to gently release the patterns that hold us back. Take a moment to sit with yourself and wonder - where might you be standing in the way of your own progress? It’s easy to think, “That’s not me,” but when you really pause and reflect, more of these patterns may show up than you expect.

  • Perfectionism - the endless need for everything to be flawless before moving forward. Constant tweaking, editing, and planning can keep us stuck in preparation, rather than fully living. Remember, perfectionism is just fear wearing a clever disguise.

  • Self-criticism - that harsh inner voice that compares you to others, speaks unkindly, or finds fault in everything you do. Would you say that to a close friend? Probably not. Try to meet yourself with the same kindness and compassion.

  • Imposter syndrome - feeling like your successes are luck and your failures are proof you don’t belong. You do deserve to be here. Your presence and your efforts are valid.

  • Fear of making mistakes - this can stop us in our tracks. But mistakes are our most trusted teachers; failures are simply lessons in disguise. Remember, every human stumbles, falls, and gets back up again.

  • Over-giving and under-receiving - sometimes we forget that true service flows from an overflow, not depletion. You can’t pour from an empty cup.

  • The need to earn your worth - some of us carry the belief that we must constantly prove ourselves through hard work and endless hoops, often learned from early life experiences. But your worth isn’t something you have to earn-it’s already part of who you are.
